Probably been asked a million times but hey ho.

Its an early dizzy xe in an F reg GTE shell.

Main things to look out for apart from the obvious 'everywhere for rust'

inner wings cracking off chasis legs. check that its had a proper bit'o'box section done on driver side chasis leg, as some people smash it back with a lump hammer, and its just not the best of plans at times.

has it been seam welded etc? but the general things are has the conversion been bodged at all? as you say rust, and is the engine a good one. there isnt much to a nova really to look out for on them apart from rust.

if you know engine is good and conversion is good, just check for signs of chasis damage/ripping apart. if its been welded it should be grand. they have a bad habbit of rusting bacdly under the battery tray aswell on a nova.

check the boot corners right at the back, rust holes quite often appear.
