Hi Guys,

Havent been on here for ages, but some of you may remember me!

Just to let you know il be at PVS saturday and sunday on behalf of AT Power throttle bodies.

Come and have a look at our shaftless bodies, which have proven back to back increases in both torque and power over Jenveys and other brands.

Look forward to catching up with those from the past and meeting some new faces.

Regards

Brad

Completed my degree and now work as Development Engineer / Technical Manager at Breckland Technology.

A friend of mine is a design engineer at AT Power, so im helping them at PVS, as knowing a few contacts from the past etc.

If you know of the Mosler / Tommy Kiara / Garaiya / Breckland Beira then we designed and build them.
We also specialise in low volume, prototypes such as the SSC Aero which was also developed here.

Racing wise im Number 1 race engineer for TFL Racing and we race in the UK and European Speed series which is basically an LMP3 open cockpit sportscar.

The Dax Rush got finished, 275bhp and heres a few little snaps:

I sold the Clio 172 and bought a Megane Trophy and Caterham R400 race car for track use:

Look forward to catching up with you guys, and was nice to hear from you!

Where did the car go after you sold it? Was a good few years ago, but I could of sworn I saw it at Southend Seafront in Essex.

The car was sold to a lad in Sussex and i think it headed to scotland shortly after that. Last time i saw it it had been very badly treated and certainly upset me!

Broster - is this the corsa 20XE yeh?

Ian - Most certainly il have a wander over and a chat!

Brad, it is the c20xe yes, really nice car tbh, we have another corsa in at the min with DTH bodies, there is so much more room in the engine bay with the AT power ones, longer ram pipes than the QED ones, still keeping the bulkhead and a dome filter! cant ask for much more! shame it wont be run in in time to get some power figures in time for the show tho.

Are these TB's using barrels? Will be interesting to see a set of production barrel TB's as I've only seen prototype ones made from resin

Sure are, back to backed with jenveys by Scholar on 2 engines now and seen gains between 5 and 10% at various locations on the power and torque curves!

Hi Brad! (and everyone else)

I did wonder how the hell Mark knew who you are, but I did a quick search on google and stumbled across this

No they're not rollers, but they are spindless, like what is used in F1, and some BTCC cars from the glory days. We can flow 99.5% the same as a roller at full throttle, where as normal throttle bodies flow 90-93%. They're smaller and lighter than rollers, and some people find them easier to get on with. Best of both worlds if you will.

More info;
www.atpower.co.uk
www.youtube.com/atpowerthrottles

Come and see them for yourself at PVS where Brad will be happy to show them off. I'll not post up a picture that Mark has sent me as it might be a big suprise for PVS. You should definately have a chat to JamSport about getting some fitted if you're interested

We're also looking at developing sets for the 1.4 8v and 1.4/1.6 16v engines. A chap who uses our DCOE throttles in autograss on a 1.4 8v engine loves them. He is making around 150bhp with that engine, crazy! It's in the orange mini on youtube video. Guy also works for Brawn GP

Something else that might be a bit special we are looking into is a kit to convert the F gearboxes into sequential for the raceboys. Would fit onto any of the F range of gearboxes, good for drag/track users I guess?

Anyway thats enough from me! Ask any questions if you want np.

P.S. Brad I keep meaning to call your dad about the Dax. I have some K20 throttle bodies here I am going to make an adaptor to go onto the S2000 engine, should be easy enough and he can do a back to back test with them.

Cheers,

John.
