Well as time has gone on, I've got more and more fed up with cars in general. Nothing's actually gone wrong with my car, just lost interest... I hardly drive anymore as me and the girlfriend split up, and it's only 3 miles to work so I've started cycling!
Worked out driving has cost me me just under £23k since I started, and for what! lol... I know I'd much rather just have the money now
So my insurance renewal is due come september, and I'm going to sell it and own no car the only thing I might do is sell my mum's old Corsa too and get something in between the two that we can both get insured on, halves on TAX, MOT etc
Would love a project car one day, something I would actually have an interest in.
Will I regret this!?

I've got the Corsa but don't use it. Since I got a mk5 Golf i've been used to new cars.
I love driving it when I can. Have only done about 1500 miles in it this year though.
Sadly it's not my priority any more
Corsa 2.0 16v Vegas - Sold

Yes, it gets to a stage where there is nothing you see for it that you like the look of, so it all goes down the pan

No piont in having a nice cam imo, People only start to vandalise them in some form. Bikes the better bet because it can be easily hidden away somewere safe!

I've just got a daily runner now that i'll keep clean and tidy.
Probs keep this blue pug for a couple of years or until i get a company van.
Once in my new place and money is setled i'll get myself an old mini as a project.
Just found that blowing money on cars is not for me, i'd rather have cash to go out with.

My mum doesnt understand, your spending more than its worth is the usual quote a get when something turns up. I will have to give my car up soon when i go to University, will have to invest in a bike.

Take up bikes....
I got my full bike license the week i turned 17 (4 days after it)
Was the best thing i ever did... one year later after driving it in the snow going sideways for 2 weeks, i thought fuck it - so bought a car and did my license... sold the bike when it had problems and my mate bought it (knowing the problems)
Best thing i did because biker runs = 50+bikes on a nice day all going out to somewhere far away, normally speeding... lol always events to do i.e glasgow egg run is a good example (youtube it - its for charity at easter)
Nothing beats a bike, im still kicking myself for selling my bike but im going to be holding out till the reccesion is over (they think its the start of 2010 that it will end) before i get a new bike... (they say deals will go on then lol)
