you need an original certificate of insurance so you will need to wait for it to come through the post

a valid insurance certificate or cover note – photocopies, renewal invitations, facsimiles, policy receipts or schedules cannot be used
yeh what you getting at?
most companies let you print off a cover note. adrian flux emailed me my certificate of insurance and i printed that off

Just print out the proof when you do it online so if you get stopped you can show it...
You also get to put a "TAX IN POST" sign like del boy
