Did you go for the ABS model? (that is a 600 isnt it?)

spent an hour on a 03 600RR the other night. So much fun! Wish I could afford the news one!

ABS is weird on a bike.

Very VERY usefull in the wet though on public roads. Makes braking over lines, drains, whilst cornering etc much easier and safer.

Although it can interupt lever feel when the bikes bouncing over cambers, it can force the abs to come on when its not needed.

But overall, worth it for the road deffo.

Least it's not the cbr125, thing's so skinny on a motorway it could overtake in the middle lane through jordan's tits.

Not ridden the new Honda with ABS yet nope I've got ABS on my fatty though, and used BMW's ABS system (which is better than mine).

I can imagine on the CBR you can adjust the sensitivity of the ABS? Unsure, but I can't see them putting out their SS600 with a rubbish system on it. It works well, very well, mostly for things like cars pulling out on wet roads, having to avoid something at the last moment (so tipping the bike over whilst braking etc).

In fact, these systems work spot on for the new Bike Test "avoidence test" where they do 30mph and have to swing left/right to avoid an accident (the one that everyones whinging is dangerous as everyones falling off (frankly, i'd have preferred to try it in a closed carpark at 30 instead of falling off at 50mph in the outside lane of a busy motorway in rush hour after being cut up, but im dumb and the noobs are right Bloody whingers, ride better is all i say )).

I've had a go of the new 1000R with ABS, feels weird but I never had any problems with it doing the back roads at speed in the wet. Infact, I test rode it and took it back 2hours later than I should have I enjoyed it that much
