i had some, my mate got it from prague, it was called N.A.T.O , it was actually called an "anti paralescent" and said it temporarily blinded. sold it though.
also, be warned if your caught by police with it they class it as a "firearm"

We use CS where i work (police) rather than Pava. Got sprayed in training, have had a faceful when wind in wrong direction and on friday/saturday nights when its kicked off. Made my eyes run, sneezed alot and spat up loads of crap. That was from atmospheric spray, not a direct hit. Sprayed some lad one night as he went crazy, his face seemed to peel instantly - like major sunburn, but it put him on his arse so did its job and i wasn't badly hurt.

Just don't touch your face etc after; stand face into any breeze, take change clothes so you can get out of the other ones (tip i learnt - dont remove your CS sprayed kit and shake it, as it lets the particles go again, into the room!)

I was in a bar in France. Some dude got kicked out for smoking weed in the bar, so he went and got some CS and ran back in spraying everyone in the bar. Makes you cough and your eyes run after a little bit, so fuck knows what a blast in the face is like

It's fantastic stuff isn't it. I actually like the smell of it. Grown used to it now. Still stings the eyes, nose runs and i spit loads of shite up, but can still effect an arrest with it, which is the main thing as i dont get my head kicked in once its been deployed.

Can you only use it if you're standing up-wind of the victim?
Would be a bit of a bugger, if you go to spray someone and then you end up getting it in your own eyes
Just found this

hazard of the job lol. Thats one reason why they've just sprayed us, so when we know how it feels when you get hit operationally, which pretty much can't be avoided. Luckily my force use pepper not cs, which has to get the eyes to be effective so less chance of it 'backfiring'
