Another Small Update:

Well car goes into bodyshop on saturday, so to save myself some money i am having a look at the rust and then going to weld it if required....

First up on stands:

Pictures of the Rust

Few plates, Sorry about the welding stupid tip was fucked and kept stopping the wire

All the rust was cut out, not plates welded on top....

Then etched + Primer + Seam sealer where require ready for the bodyshop

Picture of the small bubble on the N/S/F sill, want to get it done before it gets too bad...

and fitted my new depos

Cheers

New update:

Well got car from bodyshop, Really happy with results. Spoke to a mate of mine a DingMaster and he sorted few dents out, which was great on friday..... so was all sorted for the shows this weekend.

and then i woke up on saturday morning to find my freshly sprayed drivers side has been keyed door and WHOLE rear quarter..... to say i'm pissed off it an understatement

I'm F*cked off with people just fucking other peoples hard work up and i live at the top of a street tucked in the corner so the person/people know where i live and come up there just to key it

Saturday afternoon i cracked on with gearbox and brakes

at the moment i'm just so pissed off.....

These are the only pictures i got atm, will update the keys ones soon.....

After i got it back from the bodyshop:

New Bits:

The cars now going in for full respray and having new wings and bonnet

Cheers Dale

Update 25th Sept:

Well as you all know the car got keyed after just having that side sprayed, so i decided to get car fully re-sprayed by a bodyshop i know and trust......

To save a few pennies i helped with the prep and my bodyshop guy helped too. Heres few pictures of what we got done so far:

First we "de-badged and bump stripped" it, i knew the passenger door had filler in it but as soon as we took them of we found it wasn't even primered

So we decided to get another door as it also had 2 horrible creases:

Que, doner door:

Found rust under drivers mirror

the "keyed" rear quarter:

and the reason for new bonnet:

Few deep scratches on the roof. Prevous women owners and handbags

Part way through the prep, only 1/2 the "keyed" area has been sanded out in the picture:

Never realised how hard to was to photo problems on white paint

will keep you posted with updates....
