haha like it then

Been busy couple of days, dropped monty to Mark @ Owen Developments to work his magic....

After a little bit of playing 410hp @ 1bar but it wasn't peaking just hitting the limiter which was set at 7,500. This is with both XE cams on standard marks.

More playing and retarded the inlet camshaft 7 deg saw 428hp and brought the midrange up loads....

Which is where it was left, I was happy enough and headed to Owens to pick Monty up... I stated I never wanted it over 450 due to head etc...

On pick up Mark said he had been playing a bit more and got 447.7 HP @ 7214rpm (147mph) with 346.4 lbft @ 6333rpm @ 1.3bar

IMO this shows a great graph and Marks mapping skills

Only problem is the turbo bolts to manifold worked there way loose But tightened them back up and all was good.....

Popped to see Steve and have a chat.... Found this had been stuck on the car?

Which flew off on the way home lol

Then it was off for a good friday night drive with a few friends...

All I can say is the car is "interesting"

Talking to Mark about the turbo to manifold bolts, he said use exhaust paste and loose the gasket so this was todays job

Bye bye

Used longer bolts and fitted nuts to help hold them tight...

Changed boost clamps to "Murray constant tension" clamps as I wasn't happy how the other looked at the front and were dangerous IMO..

All back together

Then I thought I would take last nights logs off the dash..

All looking good, nice intake temps between 19-22 during the drive. EGT's were good too. So happy all is looking well.

Made couple changes to the dash display

Thats all for now

Good stuff. Is the bumper in the picture the one that's staying on? I'm sure you said you had another one that fitted better but could be wrong.

brilliant stuff with the power what boost is that at on a 30?. i think i lasted a week or less before the gasket between turbo and manifold blew to bits. I've just fitted it as it is, it chuffs a bit when cold until it warms up.

Dale if you still have problems with the bolts on the turbo working there way out try either copper coated k-nuts or schnor washers.

Good power that, Turbo is good for another 100hp too.

By any chance do you have a boost map?

At this point in time... it is drivable but the I need to set up boost per gears and traction control isn't activated yet, once these are setup traction will be better but its fun so far and i'm getting used to him again and fine tuning the suspension etc!! Just need to try and use as much as possible not just spin the wheels!!
