Is it not just the wastegate coming off the turbo? Does sound like a jet though, it sounds lovely!

cheers for comments guys, its still running KKK16 so its internal wastegate, Noise is the tailpipe as its a Jetex back back designed for a 1.4 so the internal bore isn't big enough which causes the screaming.... which is all good but i can't turn the boost up as its restricting the flow! New exhaust + more boost = More power but screaming noise will go

Good glad you had a good read, takes some time to read the whole thread!

At present I'm busy with my friends Cupra (as seen in the other thread)

But he will be getting some more attention soon but as soon as there is news I'll update

Little update:

Finally bought new lower ball joints and rose jointed track rod ends so i can invert them as monty suffers with bump steer

My broken ball joint next to the uniball ball joint (which are rebuild able + rose jointed)

After talking to compbrake about what i used the car for and Harry Hockley versions they said i could use there "Rally Version" making it still a fair bit cheaper than HH version

As you can see it has the extra thread + nut

Rose jointed track rod in normal position ( I have to drill the hub knuckle as they are non tapered)

how I plan to mount them

Next I bought some saab red injectors (360cc) as a little upgrade ready for new exhaust then its time to turn the boost up

Sent them off to be cleaned by astra-nige (Top service )

Before cleaning proved they were pritty good already - around 92 (sorry about the blur)

After cleaning - now all 94

Thats all for now
