its wicked m8!
best place to hit people is on the hands cos they don't issue gloves and when those things hit they stings like fvck.
Costs a fortune tho

Get some practice here lol

try avoid getting shot from close range.
and the worse place has to be the front of the neck area. but don't aim there cos u mite miss and get their face! its not nice to be tasting paint in ur mouth for the whole day!

been 4 times, quite exp, u really need more than 25 peeps, but its worth it!!

Wehn I went I didnt get hit once until the last roud where everyone just ran roiund going mental, no holding back, no1 knocked out if hit.

Was a great day, been a fair few times.

One of the marshalls was about same age as me, he tried to get me out because I leaned against a blast spot, where it had been hit. I gave him a hard time and he started swearing at me and shit, I walked off and got on with the game but kept shooting him, got him smack in the back of the neck he fell to the floor, great stuff.

Best place to hide is underneath a bush and snipe from there, I limited how many rounds I would shoot to each round. But in the bush when people shot at me the rounds would just stop and drop to the floor, so I would shoot the same round back, lol.

Dont go mad with your paintballs, you'll be surprised how quickly you run out. But as the companies paying, GO MAD! you havent got to worry about the bill.

Don't bother with smoke or paint grenades, both pretty shite.

Which field are you playing at? Altho I don't know any in Scotland...
Try and speak to a marshall out of earshot of others and try and get a marker with a bottle that's got an anti-syphon valve fitted.

You'll probably find that the markers fire loads of CO2 which not only can give your position away, leads to inconsistent firing.

Try to keep yourself all tucked in - depending on how the games are played, you might only be allowed body shots only (crap) or everywhere including the gun (makes you a lot more aware of sticking parts out!).

Bunkers - go around the side of them, not over them.
If you go over them then the enemy's got a clear line of sight from 180 degrees or more.
Go around the bunker and you minimise that quite a bit.

Don't go out with too much paint - as it's a punter day you'll be paying around 6p per paintball which will sting your wallet.
Remember, site markers typically fire 5bps which is 25p a second, or £1 every 4 seconds...

Take your own gloves - cycle gloves with the fingers cut off are ideal, or get yourself some proper paintballing items (usually have more protection on the back).

Again, speak nicely to the marshalls and see if you can get thermal goggles (not anti-fog). If it's a single lens then it's anti-fog and it WILL fog up. (go figure!).

Rather than worry about hitting others, concentrate on not getting hit yourself - keep loads of communication with your team mates, shouting out the enemy's position.

Even if you can't see anyone ahead, it's likely a team mate has.

Don't rely on camo jumpsuits to blend into the environment - we play in high-vis jerseys and it makes no difference to gameplay.

its well good fun, much better than go-karting. i got shot in the back of the head at point blank range, fucking hurt!

you'll be suprised how much u get into it... always helps to keep an eye on the amount of ammo in your gun, otherwise u'll just be firing co2!

Colin - I'll be interested to hear how the Rebel markers hold up - I've not heard many (any) good things about them outside of FatBobs!

I play at Diablo in Maidenhead most of the time, but sometimes at Campaign in Surrey.

I play a couple of times a month - I'm in a scratch team at the moment and we *might* be playing in the M25 league, but it depends if we can all be arsed to get the money together.

I usually pay £40 for a box of paint (2000) so if you can match that...
