Dependent on whether I have my car back in one piece by saturday (the speed this garage is going at is unbelievable - it took them 3 days to get the head off :S ) and also whether or not I manage to get off work early will determine whether I make this one, would be nice to have a good spirited drive around the bwlch again.

got it back towards the end of march, had to have it trailered up to Leeds as that was the only place that i could source an engine, and there was a renault specialist up there willing to fit it for me. Ended up costing me an arm and a leg as it also needed a new turbo and clutch as they were also knackered but at least its all repaired now

Spoke to my garage and they said they had some problems with the head but they're putting the new valves in and will start putting things back together now and If all is well, I should be having my car back tomorrow which at least means I can get there if I come lol!

clutch is shagged i think, head is cocked and i can see it being a money pit,
clutch cost me 300 on the corsa think golf would be more, head was quoted 350 for head gasket and fitting the head, thats 650-700+ might be picking up a ph1 clio sport for 2600 with low mileage and everything i want done to it done

i got quite a few people coming now lol. my mate got a mk4 astra gsi and its bout 300bhp lol he's coming and a few other people. he said he knows loads who'l be coming. how much is the rolling road gonna cost about? never been on 1 b4. also why dont we tell total vauxhall bout it? mite get a feature car lol. what u fink?
