Went to court this morning for excess speeds of 70 on a motorway. And i was SOOOOOOOO lucky with the results, i cant get over it.

100 pound fine + 2 week ban is what i got.

This is definatly an eye opener for me, you think your invinsible until you get caught, and when you do, its not nice atall and you kick yourself for being such an idiot.
I got caught speeding back in february and have been so nervous about going to court ever sinse (ive even got IBS from all the stress) I should in theory of been looking at 500+ pound fine, 6 points minimum or even loosing my licence. Its definalty a lesson well learnt for me.

Thats all

how does that work then?
is a 2 week ban just not driving for 2 weeks and then you can jump straight back in?

I thought any ban was loss of your license?

What endorsements go on?

2 week ban......

I'd have rather the £400 fine I had and the fact its cleared off my license now.

Still, relativly lucky I guess.

What is it with 114mph, I know quite a few caught doing this exact speed
