Was driving along yesterday when car lost all power, sounded like bag of spanners...

Had million suggestions....

Went to the garage today... Mechanic did full diagnostics of all sensors, etc etc.. suggested that it could be clogged up plugs...

He offered to take them of for me and see if cleaning them up would help.

Took one plug out - blacker than black! thats probably due to missfire
Second out - broken&bent
third out - black..

put some new ones in. if it does it again you know you have a problem somewhere else.

yeah i have put in some Denso plugs...

runs fine now... chain started to ratlle now though...

something seriously not right there. lucky to get away with no piston,valve damage as its a big bit thats missing

Seen a broken plug like that before.

NGK sent a dodgy batch of plugs to a local motor factors a couple of years back and it wrecked a guys engine.

NGK were nice enough to pay the bill though.

not much i could do without a receipt though ?
