Both Red Bull teams and Toyota have said they will too if price capping plans arent changed - rightly so too.

IMO they'll change the plans and Ferrari will be on the grid next year.

Don't worry, the Ferrari International Assistance or FIA will make things ok for them.

As much as I hate Ferrari (more FIA sucking their balls tbh), I think it would be a great shame for Ferrari to leave F1.

Mclaren, oldest team???????

budget cap of 40m to all teams, believe that covers everything. intresting when the likes of ferrari were spending 3 times that amount last year.

throwing thier toys out of the pram because they know they wont have a massive advantage to other teams with a price cap.

the budget cap is voluntary, thats what the problem is.

not the budget cap itself.

the teams who accept the budget cap get some better stuff compared to teams who don't take it.

Exactly Ben.

They arent the only team thats pissed, just the first to come out and say they will leave (although as I said above both the Red Bull teams and Toyota have basically said the same).

They dont want to see the cap be voluntary, if it is then it creates a two-tier formula and that will be crap for everyone.

Like what though? what could they offer to teams under the cap agreement which could be used as an advantage over teams not under the cap?

More testing time before and during season, no rev limit, twice the power from the KERS system and moveable front and rear wings.

Theres too many rules in F1. I cant keep up. Why not just let them do whatever & see who can develop the best car. Fuck off with all the bitching & spying shit & race the pants off them.

Nope, it originally was going to be a £30m budget cap, but that was raised to £40m and engine deals and salaries were excluded from the cap - basically, the two most costly components of the race team

I was thinking some drivers get a few mil a year (didn't button get 10-20mil a few years back?) that would really fuck the budget

They've done well to get the ratio of forward/reverse gears correct in the past 60 years though.
