anyone repaired it themselfs using the sleeve technique?
My head is porous and i just got the car
the seller oviously gave the system a good flush as when i checked the water there was no signs of oil a week later there is

So im guessing it wasnt porous??
It takes weeks to clear the system after it goes porous.

My C20LET head was porous, had it sleeved by V-Tuning. Was only £130 i think. Not too bad.
Exactly the same happened to me, was fine when looking at it on his drive, no sign of any water in oil/oil in water. Then the journey home was a bit of a disaster
