Had this in a few weeks ago for stone chips to the front bumper. Only had 1500 miles on the clock , but all the chips were picked up on the way back from Italy. Had armourfend fitted aswell so wont get chipped any more.

Had to collect and deliver it too, one lovely car

Whats your thoughts on Armourfend, would you have it on a show car? The stuff I have seen always dulls the paint slightly and looks awful after a few months. It may well be crap product though or instalation?

Its not actually armourfend its just the name everyone knows, its a product called venture shield which is very thin and has a clear coat over it so it will never go yellow or crack. It also has a very smooth finish unlike armourfend.
I wouldnt reccomend it for show cars as it still isn't as good as perfect paintwork so would only put it on cars that are used regularly.

Ferrari dont have there own bodyshops iirc, just approved bodyshops, which iirc tom used to work for, and therefor work will be identical

Someone who can run a ferrari decided to get something put on it that isnt perfect? Why even bother, nothing worse than a car that level with bad paintwork

The reason i said about it not being as good as perfect paintwork is that MatG asked if it would be good n a show car which goes under close scrutiny, there is now problem with it going on a car that isnt on show + looks miles better than loads of white dots all over the bumper

Cheers Tom as I thought, and also the conclusion I have come to from seeing these products fitted in the past. Shame really as its a great idea just not quite there yet in terms of design.
