Seen this once at Junction 1 in Antrim, loved it. So little done but very effective!

Cheers for all the responses
My mate's wondering why his car isn't sitting as low as it should, he had springs put on yesterday but it's nowhere near 60mm down. He thought it could be because of the standard shocks.

it takes at least a week for the springs to settle in and set to there true height give it a week and it'll be much lower

I'm sorry but that's bullsh*t. The way it sits after a few miles or so is the way it will stay. They don't take 7 days to 'bed in' Did he buy them 2nd hand? Are you sure he hasn't bought some 40mm's or something?

I couldn't care less who said what at where and when. All I know is I've fitted countless numbers of springs, shocks, coilovers etc. to loads of cars not just Corsa's and pretty much every brand and I've never discovered the ancient myth of springs bedding in after a week or so. Once they've been driven for a few miles, that's pretty much how they'll stay.

I agree with this, I've had my car up in the air at least twice every weekend for the last month or so, and it doesn't take much more than me sitting in the driver's seat to get it back to the right height.
I'm pretty sure they weren't new springs, I think they're 2nd hand Jamex ones. I'll check anyway though. They're definitely meant to be 60mm.

Hmm looks to me like he's been sold a dodgey set of springs as in they're not 60mm. No way should it sit that high.

Just checked, they're brand new and from eBay. They're the same as these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230340193806
Came from this company, it's the ones at the top of the page: http://www.tuning.co.uk/vauxshop/en-gb/dept_425.html
