need discs + pads all round on the 318, both around the same price with oe spec pads (150) or 200 for the ebc with greenstuffs. discs would be grooved only.

anyone had bad experiences with either? either better then the other?

I have had both in the past and would recommend Mintex tbh

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

EBC discs have a tendancy to crack, and the pads cant take any sustained heat. I really dont like the EBC brake stuff, but i have heard nothing but good about the mintex...so they are the ones i'd be going for.

I personally dont rate EBC stuff.Had them on a few cars and they are shite.

Had red-stuff pads in Hi-Spec 4 pots and they were like wood.Didnt bite hard atall even when up to temp on track.

Ebc are great on bikes, but mintex for cars had them on a few motors softer compound that bite hard , so my vote is also mintex.
