Plans are already in motion for a merger with Chrysler but I just saw on channel four news that there are talks about possibly buying the European side of gm Inc vaux...

We already share chassis and engine technology

Yeah, rather have a European company in charge of Vaux/Opel than American.

I think it's a good move IMO. Just hope we don't get Italian electronics

Alfa romeo were up 8% last month saleswise aswell everyone else was down

Some of the diesel engines, the VVT engine in the Alfa is a Vauxhall one.

yea the 1.3 diesel engines are fiat...and all came wit a replacement headgasket that needed to be swapped before being run, as the ones on there from factory was faulty. Great!

3.2 is a Holden/gm block
2.2 is a gm engine too, same as the vectra
Iirc 1.9 and 1.3 are our engines
