Spent 5 hours cleaning my Dads Astra on Saturday.
Its an 06 plate so was looking abit swirly and small scratches here and there. So i aquired a electric machine polisher and some G3 compound and got to work. Then afterwards applied some Autoglym High Definition Wax and im quite pleased with the results.
Unfortunatly i was so busy i didnt get and progress pictures

Plans include lowering 30 or 40mm and a cat back exhaust system, other than that is just keep it looking nice

Nice car but needs to lose those plates. Gay font and the tint look just makes them look dirty!

Yeah, i kinda agree about the plates. We have had them for about 5 years because it was on the old car for 3 years before this and weve had this 2 years!

Looks good mate

I personally normally like tinted plates but think the font ruins them.

Did you refine the paintwork with a less abrasive polish after the G3? As otherwise there will be buffer trails galore if not...

g3 on an 06 car.....whats it been washed with a brillo pad? doubt it would need that heavy compound tbh but results look ok, from a distance anyhow

agree get a remus for it they sound awsome i know a few ppl with them, plus if it has 19's i wouldnt do a 40mm drop tbh id say 30 max
