Stu's old 2.0 16v on TB had trouble shaking off a 1.0 Turbo modified corsa a few years back, so you might want to retract that flawed statement....

And the 1.0 had far less power than the one in the video...

The foreign 8v's I've seen have got DIS instead of a coil and distributor, but all the castings look pretty familiar.
