want to replace my corsa b, but not sure what to go for, got about £6500 to spend and dont want anything bigger than a 1.6 engine, had a looks at a fiesta zetec s which isnt to bad but would rather have an st but my insurance is far to high, also had a look at a corsa c sri 1.4, but all very confusing, anyone else got any ideas.

i disagree, by something nicer with more features (not necessarily faster) instead of wacking all your money on a yearly premium

the above wasnt aimed at you, it was aimed at russ.

how many years no claims do you have??
in a year the insurance will go down, why settle for a shitty 1.6 boring fiesta with a horrid interior spending all your money when you could just spend the same on a better car and the insurance, you would be spending the money anyways, and its gona go down next year,

if you kept up with current affairs then you would know that insurance premiums are on the rise due to paying off underwriter debts, so dont be so sure that his insurance would go down, and if he got a more powerful car, chances are he would end up using the power more often and have a higher chance of getting speeding fine and causing his premium to rise further..

Ibiza Sport 1.6, pick decent ones up for 2k, cheap insurance, save the rest

Or spend about 4k and get a Mk4 Ibiza 130hp Diesel, cheap insurance again
