Had my insurance renewal through, and don't know if it's because I'm turning 25, added Kirst to the policy or something else, but it's dropped 800 quid Just over £1k now

Makes a nice surprise, was expecting it to go up to be honest!

With mods declared, breakdown included, accident within the last 3 years and a shitty postcode it's no surprise.

Flux quoted me £9k

Me and Kirst are driving back tomorrow Matt.

They must be very regionally biased, wanted 1900 just for the Corsa.

Yes... The system works differently. The more a make/model of car is involved in accidents, the more you pay, so a Golf Mk4 costs more to insure sometimes than a 911.

Also, speeding convictions make no difference to insurance. And Bell were great with the Corsa, but not the Rex, too modified and high grouping I think.

Give HIC ago. Got my renewal from more than £1000 3rd party, with 2 years no claims, and no mods allowed. EXACTLY the same price it was last year.

Rang Flux, they said £1000
Then rang HIC and they said £650!
