Was just browsing ebay for a new gear linkage as going into first is knackered on my corsa and come across this...
here
Would this be a better replacement? Would it fit my 97 1.4 sport? Worth it?

Does a B&M Jobby work???
They do one for the calibre/cavalier/astra so i phoned up Vauxhall to see if the original part numbers where the same as the corsa b and the man.... he say yyyeees? Anyone done or heard of this?

Yes mate.. I had a B&M on my MK4 Astra (not the cable shift model)... It was the same fitment as a Corsa, Calibra, etc... Not sure about the nova though.
The B&M's are really nice piece of kit and worth every penny, VERY high quality

Infact something I noticed... the standard gearstick I removed off my Astra (SXi) in place of the B&M, was shorter than the standard one on my brother's Corsa... so I fitted my old one to his and he loved it
