Hi, recently got a corsa van so i thouht id sign up! only to find that i had already signed up when i owned my astra
anyway, i have a few questions that i hope you all can help me with
firstly, its a corsa combo merit - 1.7 d izuzu non turbo - L reg in white
After fitting a new gear linkage pin i found the idle speed had shot upto around 1500 rpm ( i have no rev counter so this is a rough guess) but its alot faster than it should be! i only moved a few pipes around to get to the link, nothing was taken off, removed or loosened!
any ideas?
and secondly, i want some black door cards, but are van doors the same size as door cards from a 3door or a 5 door corsa?
these are probobly really easy question for you, but its better to ask the experts!

Sounds like a vacum pipe has either come off or has split have a look to see if you can hear an air leak

Combo doors are the same as the 5 door.
No idea about the idle though, not even sure what is near there that would affect it.

thanks guys, so ill need to find some black door cards from a 5door.
ill try and get a rev counter on my car some how to find out what the exact revs are!
any more help will be appreciated - thanks again!

Found out the revving problem!!!!
trapped cable! wasnt releasing the accelorator to the stop!
