Just thought id post this on here aswell.

Car is a one year old 320i but the paintwork was in horrific condition, it had been put through machine carwashes most of its life. Wheels were stained. and paint was badly swirl marked.

Here was the stuff i used in the day.

I'll start with the wheels:

Before:

Used an acid solution on the wheels which brought them up like this:

Before i washed the car i did the hard to reach bits, front grills, around badges and door checks etc:

Heres a pic of the car after a wash and wheels cleaned, No pics pre wash sorry.

Some close ups to show how pad the paint was:

I started off by claying the car. Clay before

Clay After

Car was then prepared.

And then started, heres a 50/50, i was using 3m fast cut plus on a green cutting pad.

Close up of side not machined

And the side that was done.

Car was then polished with AG Polish

Car was then given a coat of tech wax and then finally a coat of carnuba wax although no point putting up pics of both.

Tailpipe was cleaned with steel wool and meg metal polish

And finally the finished shots:

Wheels:

And heres what i used etc

Vehicle Prewashed with TFR,
Wheels Cleaned with acid based cleaner
Tyres dressed with AG Vinyl and Rubber Care
Exhaust trim cleaned with Steel Wool And Megs Metal Polish
Machine with 3m Fast Cut plus on a green 3m pad.
Body polish with AG Polish
Waxed with Tech Wax
Waxed with Carnuba Wax
Glass cleaned with AG Glass Cleaner
Interior Plastics cleaned with DB100
Interior Plastics dressed with AG Vinyl and Rubber care

Comments welcome good and bad.
Thanks
