Do you think anybody would want an empty head? No valves, no lifters, no springs etc.

Just not sure whether to stick it on eBay or dump it in the local scrappy

The only good thing about Coscast heads is the valve side is slightly larger I think.

Otherwise, its just as prone to go Porous as the GM heads, and it was made by Cosworth instead of Chinamans back yard.

The water galleries are different iirc.

Can still go porous, just isnt as common as the GM heads.

See people say that but really, do they???

How many coscasts made (88+89 only wasn't it?)
How many GM heads made (89 to what, 93/94?)

Now compare the % of how many were made and how many failed, and i be they'd be similar.

Just my theory of course, no real facts...

And some of the coilpack Mk3 Astra Gsi's.

Also not all of the Early Astra Gte's had coscast heads fitted either.

It was only a select few and was mix and match.
