Going to tidy Mrs Jambo's Corsa Gsi (C16 with X16 management) up for her whilst shes on holibobs I have 3 weeks and not alot of cash. However i have ooodles of time and a bucket load of elbow grease.

Dont want to change it massively, just a tidy up and maybe an engine plastic cover modded to fit or paint/polish the rocker cover.

Just want some ideas and inspiration please

As it stands currently (sorry fro crap pic)

WD40 does work really well for cleaning under the bonnet. Gives it a nice shine but not ott like some of the nasty silicone stuff.

Can you modify a standard engine cover to fit with that boxy thing? I think those engines look really messy without.

my brake servo pipe is the one sticking outwards from the inlet, sorted that now though, sits nicer, i cant see why people leave the throttle cable hang over the rocker cover though, mine goes behind the inlet and around, and the throttle is not heavy at all and looks much neater

Purchased the 1.6 astra engine cover, and offered it up to the rocker cover earlier, all i can say is i love it

Its going to need hardly ANY cutting to fit, going to have to be creative with how i attach it as neither screw holed align but we will se what i can do, thoughts/comments?

Does the oil cap hold it down at all? Then just baz a sneaky zip tie or 2 hidden round the back

Looks ace though, id keep it silver and black but obv give it a clean. Whoever suggested it is clearly a hero
