its my car, confusing the hell out of me.

basically its had....

a new engine bay loom as the old one was bodged to fook

Coil
Ignition Amp
Leads
Dizzy Cap
Rotor Arm
Plugs
Crank sensor
Dizzy
Fuel pump relay
Coolant sensor

Timing is spot on
Compression is also ok

car is getting a spark and fuel but not starting

Only things sensor wise i havent changed are knock sensor, idle valve and throttle position sensor.

in theory the car should go, timing, compression, fuel, spark.

but it dosent.

like lee said tried different ECU's too.

^^ what he says. Make sure you have the right leads on the right plugs.

only thing i can think of is as ste w and barnleykarl have said the ignition timing must be out. you have compression, spark and fuel.

but are you getting the correct compression... try whipping the plugs out and checking the compression on a wet compression.. (oil down bore to seal it)

As Ste and Rich said, Kirstys brother had the plugs on this Punto the wrong way round and it wouldn't start for shit.

Check the order of the leads

also i know this sounds silly but check the plug tops are tight.... my old xe had a habit of not starting because the plug caps worked loose.

also have come accross one or 2 like my old one that if you even looked at the throtle when turning over it wouldnt start..

Was it not working before you put all that new stuff on or are they a result of fault finding?
