Nice day, ect ect, A full 5 hours today, most of that spent cleaning underneath, painted a few things in the arches that were showing a bit of rust, all you can see in the pics is my wash clay and polish efforts, didnt have time for wax and Ive run out anyway

not the actual arches, the gubbins under there, painted the struts, the droplinks and the wishbones, they had a few surface bits on them

Looks good.

Have you thot about doing the number plate area black to match the roof.Like the Mk5 Golfs.

Dont see why your all shocked at rust appearing after 3 years. Not shocking at all imo. Guy at my work has done sill patches on KA's for warrenty, and they hadnt even been registered!

yeah its a 130, well 138

It seems ok still, had a few rattles but they only seem to last a few hours and they dissapear, Its really nice to drive. I could do with getting it mapped but I never will

Exactly, bound to rust anyway isnt it, the amount of water that gets flicked up there in the rain etc, not every mm of the car has stonegaurd on it protecting it.
