Someone has crashed into my brothers Vectra SRi the other day and it looks like its going to be written off, the only thing is its not on the original alloys as they are away getting refurbished, its on steelies, what will the insurance say as they are picking it up tuesday.

Can't see it mattering so long as the fitment is comparable and the tread is OK.

Doubt it will make a difference mate.

If it was on after market alloys and they were damaged then they wouldn't pay for them, but that's not really the case so I doubt it'll matter

Leave the steelies on, flog the alloys, onto a winner. If they say anything, say it never had alloys on when you got it.
