got offered around £2225 p/x for mine for a corsa vxr 
double than what i expected and was told by people what id get for it!  would have been a bit more if i didnt have the dent on roof. and i can put the standard wheels and bumper back on it to, so can make some more money selling the other bits.
so yesterday i left the man in vaux looking for a white or silver vxr for me, in the meantime i found a 07 plate arden blue corsa vxr at a different garage,for £10,995 offered same amount p/x to. kinda fell in love with it, 6000 miles on it and its mint - i didnt expect anything else though for that age car, so im going to think about it some more and decide what to do! its not silver or white though, but more apealing than paying for a white one atm.
only thing i didnt like was, you cant see the bonnet at all !! its very deceiving the size of them,! and they feel realllyyy high when you sitting in them. nice comfy drive though.

That's quite a result for the p/x figure! But then I suppose they'll offer good prices just to get you spending more money 
A silver or white one would be nice and less common, but if you love the blue one, go for it - price sounds fairly reasonable

your right! iw ould have just said yes to that one yesterday but i have to think about having no life for the next 3 years whilst i pay for it, so yes it could be worth waiting untill end of year or next year for the white one. but then again i wont be offered that much for p/x, my car is in good condition for 8 year old car anyway so its all good.

i always say if i get a vxr id have the wheels white or same as what ive got on the corsa atm.

If you're in no rush to get one, wait for the colour you want! As soon as you drive off the forecourt with the Arden Blue one you've added another owner to the list, and potentially dropped the value some more!

That sounds like a good offer. Espicially if they can find one in the colour and spec that you want
Cant see the bonnet at all in my car either. You get used to it in no time though

thats a decent price for p/x 
arden blue corsa vxr's are nice, but i did see a white vxr artic yesterday and it looked stunning so i'd wait for that if it's what you really want.
you can't really see the bonnet on any newer small/medium sized cars anymore, my fiesta and focus were/are the same, just have to guess how close you are to the wall/pole in front of you
