couple of updates.
fitted led sidelight bulbs to go with the xenons in the car.
before
after
now the important stuff! spent a good 3 days doing the car head to toe as it needed a good clean inside and out! i'll let the pics do the talking rather than explain it all. now my camera skills aren't the best so i couldn't capture swirl mark shots so well, white isn't the most forgiving.
before
after
i didnt bother with the wheels, as i was taking them off to repaint them anyway! also fitted a mugen reservoir sock, and carbon plug cover and carbon engine cover to go with my carbon gruppe m induction. still waiting on my red sfs induction hose, spoon oil cap and spoon rad cap.
and how its sitting now on anthracite DC5 wheels while i paint the originals.

looks smart on the dc5 rims and looks really clean
how come it has a square number plate on the back though? would look much better with a normal one imo

Looks great mate Temp wheels suit it nicely too
"Normal" rear plate would look better tbh. And please remove that stupid MG badge!
What sidelight bulbs are they btw?

i know a normal rear plate would probably look better, but with the square one and the mount for it, its more recognizable as an import ep3. by MG badge do you mean the union jack? they were fitted to all JDM ep3's as they were built in swindon minus the engine/box and shipped to japan
sidelight bulbs...i can't honestly remember. they were dear, £15, but they're the best i've seen. can find out if you like.

If you're after keeping the JDM look, then fair enough on the rear plate
Never knew that about the union jack either - it looks like the wanky one found on MG's etc - just looks like a stuck on job so not a fan unfortunately!
And yeh if you get a moment (catch me on MSN with it if you want ) I'd be interested to know where you got those bulbs from as would like some in the van, but keep killing them with the HIDs atm!

Nice work. Can you get facelift JDM Civics? The ones with the darker headlights etc.?

Looks nice!
A thing I've always wondered with these; whats it like having the gearstick on the dash? Is it more of a stretch? Does it take some getting used to?

Looks nice mate
Are you just redoing the standard wheels in the OEM champ white?
Matt afaik there were no jdm ep3's in facelift guise. I maybe wrong though.
Antee the gearstick is spot on imo. 10 mins to get used too and then you wonder why all cars arnt like it
