I am trying to get my afro bum hair down to birmingham to pick up a cdti, however i need to tax it but have no insurance certificate arrive through the post, even though i have phoned it through etc

A friend of my commented that I could use another fully comp insurance document( possibly my brothers ) as they are insured to drive any car, and it would be possible to tax it that way, I think this is how small dealers tax cars, any info on this would be much appreciated!

No needs to be the insurance policy for that car.

Phone your insurance comapny, explain the situation and see if you can get them to fax/email through a cover note

yes there is but... your car would show up as taxed (i assume) so they would need to see the disk to do it... depends how lucky/unlucky you are.

exactly, you are not breaking the law in my eyes by doing that as your simply waiting for it to come through the post, you will have paid the required fee and your insured so whats the issue?

Because the infringment is not displaying tax.

They give you 5 days at the start of the month now if you have bought it online and are waiting for it to come through.
