Bit of a long shot / cheeky question on Corsasport but a few of you have BMWs.
Anyone know what has happened to e36coupe.com or bmwowner.co.uk as it is in the URL these days? Been down for days and I could really do with it coming back cause i need some info.

cool, its not just me then!
I'll ask the question then. Today, when I lock my doors and deadlock (all via the key cause I dont have and never have had remote locking), it quickly unlocks itself. When I locked it the second time, its been ok. Happened twice today and I'm not sure why. Any thoughts? All the doors have been properly closed.

That is strange, the only thing I think it could be is the central locking ecu or the locking actuator is not working properly.
Is it a coupe? when you close the doors do the windows go up properly?

It's a saloon, a 325 on k plate. I managed to replicate the problem this morning, it only happens if I turn the key quickly. If I turn it a bit more slowly, it locks no prob. I'd say it could be the actuator on the way out, cheers for the suggestion.
Colin, bmwland is a good forum, I use that too but there are loads of m3 forums about.

aye, its back online now.
p.s looks like my bootlock is dodgy which is causing the locks to bounce. I'll set about it this weekend after I've fitted the new short shift kit
