Oh right....i was thinking of the MK2 then..

Wife had a normal MK3 Polo and it was rubbish...try and get a Lupo GTI

Mk4 (6n) polo GTi is mega rare and left hand drive only - not available in the UK

The Mk5 (6n2) GTi i think is the one your after, came with BBS wheels and xenons. Look like this...

Good cars mate, built well and they're pretty reliable.
Not much goes wrong on them, check the pedal box recall has been carried out as its a big bill if it goes on you.
Also the BBS wheels corrode badly, could always get refurbed but its worth checking them thoroughly.

The 6n is a mk4 not an mk3
and the 6n2 is a mk5 not an mk4

yeah would rather the leather interrior myself mate although if i get one without ill more than likely try n get the interior off ebay or even retrim the standard interior in leather

My GFs brother has just bought a 2001 Polo gti, I really like it, would deffo have one. Had a little blast in it the other nigth and it pulls really well and seemed to handle to. They do seem a bit over priced for what they are thesedays though.
