Astra's nearly 3 years old now so its that MOT thing time.
Thing is, the tax runs out end of April, yet the cars registered in May. Does this mean we can get a new tax disc for the car without the MOT?
For new cars, is the MOT required on the 3rd year, or 3 years, then due the next year (so 4 years)?
Typical, nail in tyre and im guessing its MOT at the end of 3 years, so bloody gotta get the mofo sorted before an MOT now.
But can we still get the tax as the car will still "officially" be under 3 years old (be it by about 2-3 days ).

MOT is required when the car ends it's 3rd year of registration.
You can still tax the car if it is 2 years 11 months old without an MOT certificate
