hi there , looking at some fk coilovers on ebay , cheap jobbys for now , but they say the maximum drop it 70mm and really i could do with it abit lower , is there any way you can drop them lower ? iv herd taking out the helper springs makes it drop more

Yes, 70mm is the recommended maximum - they are capable of 100mm or more if you remove the helper springs.

Cheers. Going by the pic they havent got helper springs have they? S@M on here as got them on his sport, set quick low with loads of thread left. Might be worth dropping him a u2u

hmmm , yeh i think i will , im running just gmax shocks on cut front springs and jack it up and they drop out of place and its gone front high now iv done a big rear drop , what you running on the front 60mm?

Yeah just -60mm at the minute. Looks a bit back heavy though so looking for some coilies Nearly bought a set of those FK ones but decided not to incase its hard to get different poundage springs for them. They are a bargin though!

you keeping it -12000mm then?

they aren't bad mate, expecially for the price tag... seem fairly smooth and seem to handle ok.... wouldnt rate them up with spax rsx though (personal exp), but at the end of the day you pay for what you get dont you

still in the progress of setting the back up (i have spax psx rear dampners), want to try some differnt on the back as it to hard with the 100mm springs

You don't gain much by removing the spring adjuster plate at the rear, only way to go really low is proper coilovers on the back or custom springs.

Wouldn't recommend FK's, mine was running on the lowest setting and snapped
