Been chasing my TT up a bit this week and spoke with the insurance company who paid out for the car; they have offered me the car for Salvage cost as i am 'Innocent purchaser'. Anyone any idea what sort of % of the cars value that would be. Someone has told me 10% but surely it cant be that low!!!

Sorry forgot to put that; they haven't got that yet as an engineer is going to look over the car soon. Just after an idea really.

http://corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=489735 Theres a bit more info about the sit.

Basically i bought a cloned car; as soon as i suspected i handed it into the police. The insurance company paid out to the original owner and as i was the 'Innocent Party' i can buy it direct from the insurance for salvage cost minus a bit as a good will jesture

I would expect circa 20%-25% less than current trade book. Trade values have hit an unsustainable peak, so you will be paying simlar trade values today, as we were 12mths ago.
