Was going to sell my 1.2 corsa cdx and get something different but i was offered a 1.1 saxo today for a straight swap. The saxos been lowered has a stainless steel cat back system, nice wheels and vtr bumpers.

But im thinking about modding the corsa now. What i would do to the corsa is lower it 40mm, set of wheels, fix the scratches on the bumpers, spoiler(nothing stupid just a small one), nice exhaust and maybe some lether seats.

So any opinions on what i should do?

EDIT: forgot to say its a 5 dr corsa

Personally I wouldn't touch a Saxo with a barge pole.
Horrid little tin cans if you ask me, But that's just my opinion. Keep the Corsa.

A 5 door with some nice subtle mods would look ace.
Keep the 5 door and be a little different

btw I had a Saxo as a hire car. What an absolutely awful car to drive. If your feet are over size 5 be prepared to accelerate every time you brake as the pedals are so close together.

just been looking at Danny W project and my minds made up.

Got to do the corsa up just to be different plus my cars a pretty good base to start with its only done 27000 miles and has been well looked after (except for when they parked it!!!)

So, Has anyone got a post 97 cdx rear bumper kicking about?

plus i drove my mates saxo vtr the other day, bloody horrible compared to the corsa, stick with it buddy !!!

The gearboxes are nowhere near as bad as people say. They are normally folk who believe what they read from randoms. Terry I've got size 12/13 feet and my Saxo or my 106 were perfectly easy to drive. I've had more problems in all four of my Corsa's than I've had in my L reg 106. It's your opinion that they look better, some do, others don't. And it all depends on what each cars history, mileage, tnt is to see what'd be the better car. Not just some massively biased but uneducated guesses

Well i'm an 11 and have driven quite a few cars and the saxo and pug 206 are garbage in the pedal lay out. Call it uneducated or biased as you wish but I drive for a living and know what good feels like to me:

Don't mod a 5 door, you are fighting a losing battle straight away.
