All electrics lights, radio, wiper, indicators etc work lovely (1 or 2 little niggly bits) but it doesn't fire at all

IMMOBILISER seems to be ok. Could be flywheel sensor?

But gonna try getting it to WarrenG

I wouldnt go looking at changing sensors with the state of that wiring. First thing I would be doing is getting the wring done. There are plenty of auto electricians around here that can sort it out for you. No need to take it to warren really.

I'd recommend TWA auto electricians, only problem is they are in Newport, they charge a packet but they do a bloody good job - and they know what they're doing. They were the only people who could pick up that my ECU was shot.

I've asked a good few garages and electricians but none are prepared to take it on due to the nature of the job etc

What does it do when you turn the key to start it? Does the starter click? Does it turn over but not fire or is there nothing at all. I'd bet they havnt set up the imobilizer properly or have just fucked your loom.

hmmm..could be a few things. id get the aa out and tell them it was running and now it wont start. Might want to tape up them wires first tho so it looks abit neater. They have got the equipment there to see what is causing the problem. worth a shot for free anyway
