Ultima One of these was tearing up ANYTHING that went up the 1/4 mile against it last year 500+bhp Skylines etc were being torn apart

estimated power is gonna be around 1100bhp

all i know is its a 6.7 V8 running two Banks turbos

since ive been with my lass he's built a Mk1 RS2000 running on twin 50's and Mini Cooper S (bought a crashed damged one and re shelled it) plus a few other cars, but nothing like this

I lurve these cars soo much. I have one of these in my ten year plan.

1100bhp will be mental. Ultimas own 'show car' is 800bhp and does 0-100-0 in 9.9 seconds. 1/4 miles in 9.8 and is the fastest car around the top gear track by 5 seconds.

I've heard the porsche transaxle is good for 1000bhp so he must be having to strengthen it.

Is he going for ultra light weight or fitting carpets and aircon?

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

carpets and aircon. hes building it and then selling it, then building another, think hes gonna build them and sell them for extra cash

He will do 3 and then will be fucked over by VOSA. I know a bloke who just finished his 3rd kitcar in 5 years and VOSA wouldn't let him SVA it and told him he would have to register as a manufacturer and get type approval.

Ask him what mods need doing to meet the new IVA regs. He would be better off building it with a smaller engine then fitting that later. He will really struggle getting it to pass an IVA with that engine.

The guy in my street got rid of his

Whatever you choose John. LS1/2 are common. LS7 less so because they're so damn expensive. A mere $27k to you.
