hi ive just been offerd a fiat punto gt turbo as a swop for my car rr print out of 200bhp tastfully modifide but are they eny good ??? and what should i look out for on them ??? thanks

beware of punto's rotten chassis! I like the punto GT but i know that most of them have a lot of corrosion by now. If this punto doesnt then yeah it sounds coooooooooool!

as andy said, what mods for 200bhp?

if not decent mods and just upped boost loads then wont last long at all

Heads. Suppsedly they are really bad for headgaskets from new

Mine was running a healthy 180bhp and the only 2 problems I ever had were a slight oil leak where a pipe wasn't on tight enough and a split cv boot

My mate has one running roughly the same power. Already hes had to fit a new turbo and the one on it was an uprated unit. I believe they like to blow head gaskets.

its gt a big front mount intercoller uprated turbo camed re mapped ecu baileys dumpvalve and more apparantly well mite go have a look and take my head gasket teaster and cheek underneth it like mad lol thanks for all the help
oh buy the way wat would a 200bhp punto be like to live with as a daliy driver ???
