It's all looking good, especially Brawn GP! Although odd how Hamilton is down at the back considering Kovalainen is up in 5th.....

Its just first practise, early days yet. Qualifying will give us a better idea of things to come. I dont want to get my hopes up too early for brawn.

Should be an interesting season. Really looking forward to seeing if Brawn improve on their impressive pace in testing, although from what I've heard there's already drama with Williams and Brawns interpretation of the rules with regards their rear diffusers. Apprently Ferrari and McClaren have lodged complaints and we may not have the official outcome of the first race for a fortnight which is a bit of a farce

I'm still behind Hamilton. Hopefully Mclaren will improve in qualifying and race conditions and Brawn will come a cropper!

I'd love to see both the English lads do well and it'll be interesting to see what Button can do in a competitive car as I always thought he had the ability just not the Car

Apparently Hamiltons car is too low bottoming out, slowing him down.

Well Lewis won the last 2 years there, so he's good at the track.
But by his own admission, their car isn't great and isn't finished and he's already admittied its going to be hard this race.
Still gotta back the boy though!!!

Man you've been missing the fun. McLaren wasn't involved, but Ferrari, Red Bull, and Renault, and ? was..
The FIA have agree that the cars are all meeting to FIA requirements, but it will be investigated after the race meeting. They say the decisions could change, but i can't see how. If the FIA have AGREED that the cars are ok to race, then they get slapped for finding a "loophole" then they shouldn't be penalised.
Ferrari would do it without doubt if they could get away with it.
Good to see them whinging even before 1st practice had started.
What is it with Italians and their whinging.

Must admit I'm a little lost off with all the rule changes and team bitching this season, just trying to catch up with everything that's gone on before the weekend.

The Sports news lass on radio 1 in the mornings didn't even realise they had dropped the who ever wins most races is the champion rule. Made a bit of a fool of herself when she spoke to Brundell yesterday

Who? Did Mark and Martin have a love child? only joking.
The cars do take a bit of getting used to, they are ugly as sin compared to last year. Slicks are back in their rightful place.
Should be good.

Red Bull are the main ones behind the diffuser protest because their suspension design doesn't allow them to use that diffuser

Was reading up on that. Funny how Ferrari didn't moan about the completly new innovation by Red Bull (Who own Torro Rosso Red Bull, who ironically are using a Ferrari engine.........). Theres nothing in the rules to say they couldn't, just like this whole diffuser issue.....
Still if Ferrari don't like it, they will moan
Anyone heard McLaren whinging about it even though both there cars are awful at the moment??? Nope...
RB suspension means if the rules arn't adjusted to ban Brawn/Toyotas diffuser, then Red Bull cannot incorperate the diffusers to their car due to their new suspension.
I like Massa, but over the last couple of years im really starting to dislike the principles (or lack of) that the Ferrari team have. Wasn't like this so much back in the 80's and early 90's when Ferrari had no power over the FIA eh.....
