might be mercury grey i think can't remember lol, it's just a standard vauxhall colour tho.

painted powercap same colour as rockercover

also gave gearbox quick lick of paint to freshen it up an got drive shafts built up.


just waiting to get lend of the tool to tighten up the clips on the cv's now

got a set of coilovers now shud hopefully be on by the end of this week, starting to rebuild engine now so hopefully all goes to plan when it goes in, in july.

it's got a full gmax kit on, not sure on drop as it was on when i got it.

todays efforts,
out with the old

gonna tidy up the bay before fitting new engine,

anyone no what this bit on the right strut is for, do you need it when fitting the xe

engine built up now, pic's of bottom end, fitted new oil and water pump an new timingbelt kit along with all new gaskets and tx auto sport dipstick bit and water bar.taking it from shed to garage in pic's lol.

that looks spot on mate....but why have you gone for red hoses and not blue??

oh and those avos u have are wicked, they get you nice and low. ive had to buy new shorter springs from avo though to get the front down abit more bt apart from that theyre spot on

i bought the engine complete and it already had the red hoses on, but maybe blue hoses would be too much blue on it.
