They dont have a cat do they?

So is it just a straight through pipe with baffle boxes?

Mine needs replaced, full thing from downpipe. Just looking at prices now.

cat for mine would cost £212 fitted inc vat at Hi-Q. Not sure if you get Hi-Q in scotland

they have cats yes, they arent needed though or well... you can still pass an mot legally without one.

Hmmmmm

The actual pipe & box section is fine its the hangers that have rotted through.

Looking on GSF now but its not very detailed.

Looks like id start blowing holes if I try to weld onto it. At the above price however I might give it a go!

we do it weekely, its a shit design, and held on by 4 spots of weld, should be enough to last untill you get rid of it at least

no boxes on mine besides the backbox being a diesel and its age (v reg) it doesnt require a emissions test

I welded one just the other day. Easy enough. The front and centre hangers always break. If your near south east ill do it free.

Go to a parts store and get a CAT. I know its not the same thing but I got a new CAT at a parts shop next to mine for £20 when I traded old one in that was for my corsa.
