Really fancy a Clio 182 as i'll be doing a max of 300 miles per month HOPEFULLY.

When buying a car private, what should i look out for? I've always bought from dealers before. Know mechanically what to look out for and will take a mechanic along with me. But in terms of documents i'm a little stuck as the dealers have always done this for me.

Other thing, has anyone swopped cars with a bit of cash before off Piston Heads?

Clio 182 is pretty sensible to be honest, very comfortable and quiet as standard if you buy a full fat model.
Only reason I bought one over fitting a bigger engine in my corsa.
Most of them are approaching cambelt time so make sure its been changed if its due one or it is reflected in the price.
Make sure the V5 logbook is complete with all the right information and the chassis numbers etc match up.
