glb, stop being a cock. They are all relatively similar, you asked a very bland question so expect bland answers. Management is management and all it is is numbers in a database. just buy whatever you can get your hands on. You have been given advice on what to buy from a few people, then ignored them and insist on bike tb's. These questions have been asked a million times and been answered a million times before. Just google it, find what you can afford, then fit it.

I get the feeling 90% of people who talk about fitting tb's are doing just that, talking about it and never actually do it or can afford to do it.

Yeah its all well and good googling everything but its easier to have somethings explained.

thanks nic.
So basicly, its just that all the wires are allready in the ECU plugs.

After looking at the gotech wiring diagrams, and reckon i can manage that bit. but also read about another ECU which required the board making up, think it was megajolt actually, and got a bit confused.

thanks for the help, now everyone has calmed down a bit!

yeah all the wires for mine were in the ecu plug with blank ends. basically figure out say which 2 wires are the cts, run them, put plug on for it. move to tps, run them to length, put plug on etc.

after i done all that i removed the loom again and wrapped it up. i didnt use fancy braid which in many ways i wish i had, i ghetto black electrical taped it all.

Megajolt is no good for injection. it only controls ignition advance.

Megasquirt is for tb's.

I built amegajolt last year. They are good and do what they say on the tin.

It is very good. They get great reviews and a lot of tuners will gladly work with one. When i come to upgrade from my weber carbs I'm fitting emerald!

Meant to say megasquirt sorry.

The emerald ecu dont seem too bad, just gotta add on 60 for the flying loom.

How to they compare to the gotech? much difference?

top price is loom plug, not the loom itself. the flyling loom attached to an ecu plug is £60 so its still not a bad price. for the price i find it quite a good ecu. isnt too bad to map with either.
