Idea stolen from Scoobynet, but what's the highest speed currently recorded in your Sat Nav? No need to tell us where you managed it, since I don't want this thread to turn into yet another bad-driving slanging match. Just recorded speed and vehicle please.

max speed i done (not my satnav) was 78. would be more, but sat nav started shouting at me saying i am breaking the speed limit

Was thinking that myself!!! Ive got an old pic of my P1 that Ill dig out when I get in.........a pic of the rev counter showing just under 8,000rpm on the limter and the speedo showing just under 155mph!

I have seen at about 135mph, but when i'm doing speeds like that the last thing i do is look at the nav

They are as standard. Probably had a rebuild and been bored/stroked to take it to 2.2

That would not register as it is linier not vertical measurements.
