right we swapped cars again for a while so i have her fiesta and she has the vx220, does less miles with her and she looks after it beta then me giving it death everywhere so makes sense!
here is old pic of the car in question
she text me the other day saying that a car had tried to have race with her ....... and that she had made he realise he was not gonna have a chance and also not exceded any speed limits at the same time!
spoke to her few days latter and she explained that this car came up behind her very fast on dual carrageway approaching round about..... and then pulling off from roundabout she put her foot down and he soon went into the distance, she stopped accelerating at 70 and he didnt attempt to pass after!
i said wot car was it, she said looked like some american car with horse thing on front!! but it never passed for her to c the back!
lol, i said it must have been mustang, she said they are not fast tho are they! lol
she totally loves the car and says the acceleration is awsome! my mum is 55 years old and not a fast driver at all! glad the car has traction control tho!
her last 3 cars were:-
1.2 nova sting
1.4 saxo vxz
1.25 fiesta

my 1100kg 280hp phase 4 z20let van seems so tame and almost slow compared to the vx! i used to think the van was fast!

in damp conditions on private roads i got
0-60 in around 4.5sec
0-100 in just over 9sec
0-130 in under 15sec

ive been in a vx200 on a motrway.. it was a hoot if an little unpractical...
a tuned one would be quite cool

the mustang tried to accelerate out of the roundabout and just went sliding off down a ditch most likely
not all mustangs are fast, i kept up with one the other week then waved as i went past with 130 on the clocks

power to weight will be around 315 bhp per tone! depedning on how heavy the driver is!

but they are not excatly slow, just made me laugh that a mum that is not a fast drive beat a mustang, i would have been devestated if i was the mustang! beaten by 55 year old mum!

well your mum is way cooler then mine then, sorry!
i just thought it was funny, dont think my mum would know wot a rs6 was and weighting twice the weight of the vx220, use twice the fuel, in my opinion not be as fun! think she would prefer to stick with the vx220, more unusal to c on the road also!
